These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website playgroundlab.org (the "Site") operated by Playground Lab LLC ("Playground Lab," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About the Site
Playground Lab is a technology incubator based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Site provides general information about Playground Lab and its activities.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws, attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or security, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any connected systems. Automated access to the Site is permitted only to the extent allowed by our robots.txt file; any other automated extraction of content requires our prior written permission.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, animations, design elements, and source code, is the property of Playground Lab LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. 4. Program Information
Descriptions of cohorts, roles, mentorship, academic credit, and ventures on the Site are provided for general information and may change. Nothing on the Site is an offer of admission, employment, compensation, academic credit, equity, or any other benefit. Participation in any Playground Lab program is governed solely by separate written agreements between Playground Lab and the participant, and, where applicable, the participant's university.
5. Third-Party Links
The Site links to websites operated by others, including news outlets, social networks, and the websites of ventures built in our programs. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. A link does not imply our endorsement.
6. No Professional Advice
The content on the Site is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional, legal, financial, or investment advice.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Playground Lab LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. In no event shall our total liability exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
9. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
10. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Playground Lab regarding the Site. The Site is offered in English and Spanish; if the two versions differ, the English version controls.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
